Amazon is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Change Management Program Manager in the International Change Management team within the Engineering Services organization to play a critical role in managing Amazon's fast growth and technology innovation needs. The successful candidate will be a natural self-starter, highly motivated individual and have a strong level of ownership. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager for Change Management and will support other teams to deliver fulfillment network capacity on time.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesAlign change management activities with the current Project Management Office (PMO) plan for Amazon projectsOwn the process/tools and mechanisms for Change requests to be raised and evaluated, concluded within SLAsIdentify process defects through stakeholder feedback and audits. Facilitate cross-functional mechanisms to minimize defects in a measurable wayReview new change requests from corporate and site stakeholders against existing standardsIdentify and address customer and business pain points by actively deep diving into data and operational processes and working with cross-functional teamsWork with Global Engineering Services (GES) and partner SMEs to identify cost reduction and cost avoidance opportunities through processes to evaluate change requests, and facilitating lessons learnt from changes at a network levelLead process improvement projects and development of new tools to better support the businessSchedule and moderate multiple weekly standing meetings with internal teams to obtain or share information and approve changes; coordinate information between various teams in the organizationFlexibility to travel up to 10% across projects About the TeamThe Change Management Team is a pillar within the Central Services Team of the International Global Engineering Services. The team's focus is:
To drive a customer-friendly Change Management process and services to our internal customers (site delivery teams) in terms of decision velocity, process clarity, and access to information.To maximize value to the business through multiplier effects of changes across the network (vis-à-vis single site changes), by driving standardization.To ensure a process with thorough evaluation of change requests, which leads to cost avoidance of changes that are not as beneficial/impactful. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree4+ Previous experience as a Program Manager in an engineering, NPI, design or change management role.Proven analytical skills and tools (Excel, Power BI)Verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English languages (C1+) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSQL, Power BI or query or programming knowledge and experienceExperience of working in a Fulfillment center (Engineering services, Operations, Process or construction roles) or similar setups in other organizationsGood working knowledge of AutoCAD or any other Design Software (BIM360, Revit, etc)Experience with engaging with stakeholders or customers locally and across diverse geographical locationsAbility to work independently, within tight timelines and with a strong attention to detailExcellent meeting management and facilitation skillsStrong critical thinking and analytical skillsAbility to support several projects at one time, and accept re-prioritization as necessaryAbility to drive business decisions with cross-functional team collaboration and relevant analytical dataProven experience challenging the status quo, identifying and driving continuous improvement initiativesAbility to tailor communication to a wide spectrum of members of the organization and explain technical conceptsGerman, French, Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualificationsMaster in Engineering, Science/Technology, Business or related field.
