**Position: Chassis Design & Release Engineer**
**Responsibilities**: As a Chassis Design & Release Engineer, you will oversee the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of chassis components. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure precise design and development of chassis systems, contributing to continuous process improvement.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 2-3 years of engineering experience in designing and developing Chassis components, Chassis structural parts, Steering systems, Suspension systems, or overall Chassis
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Unigraphics NX, Catia V5, and Teamcenter for vehicle packaging and component design
- Familiarity with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), and validation plans
- Ability to create and edit Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and/or Reactive Green/Black Belt is advantageous
- BIW in-plant launch experience preferred
- Familiarity with CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus
- Understanding of CAN/LIN bus and circuit analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office suite; familiarity with CATIA V5 is beneficial
- Knowledge of Casting and Injection Molding processes is advantageous
- Willingness to travel with a valid passport and visa preferable
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency
