**Position Summary**As a culinary team leader with experience in luxury hotels and resorts, at Beond you will play a vital role in guest's personal growth and transformation. By crafting intentional menus and enhancing the dinning experience, you create a nourishing environment that supports deep introspection and self-discovery, making the culinary journey an integral part of their transformative stay.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Food Preparation**:Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's standards, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- **Menu Development**:Assist in the creation and refinement of the menu, ensuring a variety of innovative and seasonal dishes.
- **Quality Control**:Monitor the quality of ingredients and dishes, ensuring that they meet the restaurant's standards.
- **Food Safety**:Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- **Inventory Management**:Oversee the inventory of food supplies, order ingredients as needed, and minimize waste.
- **Team Collaboration**:Work closely with other kitchen staff, including line cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:Address any special dietary requests or client preferences with care and attention to detail.
- **Training**:Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- **Cost Management**:Assist in managing food costs and budget, optimizing efficiency without compromising quality.
**Job Requirements**:
- **Experience**:Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef or Cook in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- **Education**:Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
**Job Skills**:
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.

**Physical Requirements**:Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot environment.

- Achieve a 90% or higher score on internal food quality audits.
- Ensure less than 2% of dishes are returned due to quality issues per month.

- Maintain food cost percentage below 30% of revenue.
- Achieve a waste reduction target of 10% within the first six months.
- **Team Efficiency**:
