**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Develop and deliver lessons on topics such as organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry.
-Design and organize lesson plans and activities to meet curriculum standards and student learning goals.
-Supervise and guide students in laboratory experiments, ensuring safety and proper procedures.
-Evaluate students through tests, quizzes, assignments, and lab reports; provide constructive feedback.
-Maintain a positive, organized classroom environment and manage student behavior effectively.
-Offer additional assistance to students who need help, through tutoring or differentiated instruction.
-Accurately grade assignments and maintain detailed records of student performance and progress.
-Teach and enforce proper safety protocols in the classroom and lab.
-Stay current with advances in chemistry and adjust teaching materials to reflect new information.
-Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and conferences to improve teaching practices.
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
A university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or related fields, with additional studies in pedagogy or didactics.
-Extensive knowledge in theoretical and practical chemistry, including organic, inorganic, analytical, and physical chemistry.
-Preferably with experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, with the ability to adapt content to student needs.
-Experience in laboratory management, supervising experiments, and enforcing safety protocols in the lab.
-Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and motivate students using innovative approaches and technological resources.
-Patience, empathy, adaptability, and leadership to manage the classroom and work with students of varying levels.
-Interest in continuous learning, participation in extracurricular activities, and an ethical approach to teaching.
-Ability to teach in English or use the language in activities and educational resources, especially in a globalized academic environment.
-Ability to incorporate new technologies and teaching methodologies, promoting active learning and experimentation in the classroom and laboratory.
