Purpose of the PositionThe General Director position is critical for providing strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the company's long-term success and sustainability. As the General Director, you will develop and execute the SOFOM's vision and strategy, overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This role is vital for driving technological innovation, integrating sustainability practices, maintaining investor relations, and expanding business opportunities. Your leadership will directly impact the organization's growth, operational excellence, and social and environmental responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy of the SOFOM. Define and oversee the company's operational, financial, and sustainable development goals. Regularly report to the Board of Directors on progress and performance. Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the SOFOM, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all business areas, including factoring, credits, and leasing. Coordinate with team leaders to meet operational goals. Technological Development: Led the IT and development team to ensure the continuous development and implementation of innovative technological solutions that support SOFOM's operations. Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness. Sustainability and Credit Criteria: Integrate sustainability criteria into all credit and product development decisions. Promote sustainable and responsible business practices within the organization and towards clients. Ensure the company maintains its certification as a B Corporation and meets its sustainability goals. Investor and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with investors, regulators, clients, and other key stakeholders. Represent the SOFOM at industry events and forums to promote the company and its values. Identify and secure funding sources to achieve the business plan. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets. Lead marketing and sales strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue. ISG Risk Analysis: Conduct comprehensive ISG risk analysis to safeguard company data and ensure regulatory compliance. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's information assets. Requirements and Competences to Work with UsEducation: Degrees in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. An MBA is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in financial institutions, preferably in factoring, credits, and leasing. Experience in conducting ISG (Information Security Governance) risk analysis. Knowledge and Skills: Technical knowledge in financial operations, strategic planning, and risk management. Strong understanding and commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English C1. Software: Familiarity with financial software and IT systems. Competencies: Strategic leadership and vision. Operational efficiency and effectiveness. Technological innovation and development. Sustainability and responsible business practices. Relevant Details Before Applying for This Vacancy The position is based in Mexico City with the flexibility of remote work when needed. The salary range is 150,000-200,000 MXN net. Direct employment relationship with the company.
