.**Chief Investment Officer**- **Role Purpose. **Responsible for the strategy and execution of all HSBC Asset Management portfolios, including Pension Funds, Investment Companies, Insurance Portfolios, Annuities, Corporate Mandates, and Private Banking, among other portfolios.- In charge of the macroeconomic analysis and market strategy of Asset Management Mexico for the management of local and emerging portfolios in HSBC US.- Head of the investment team of the "HGIF Mexico Equity Fund" fund (SICAV / UCITS III), domiciled in Luxembourg and offered to foreign institutional clients.- Conduction of local Regulatory Committees for formal monitoring processes and investment limits.- Responsible for the alignment of the investment processes regarding the homogenization of the investment philosophy, integration of the regional teams, incorporation of the UN principles in the different stages of the investment processes.- Responsible for the implementation of the Global Operating Model of HSBS Global Asset Management related to the standard of investments and systems that formally comply with the FIM of Asset Management Global.- Senior support to the sales areas of HSBC Wealth Management, PCS, Advance, as a speaker at events, conferences and seminars for global institutional clients and individuals (Premier).- Evaluation and integration of synergies and capacities to optimize the investment structure in Latin America.- Participation in the HSBC WPB Investment Committee and Financial solutions providing investment views and asset allocation ideas.- Central support for the design and development of new products.**Main activities**:- Coordinate and supervise the design, implementation, administration, of all investments in Asset Management for Mexico.- Ensure that operations and analysis in the area are carried out according to the regulatory investment parameters.- Responsible for the performance of all investment portfolios in Mexico- Supervision of regional investment team composed of Senior professionals, specialized in portfolio management of fixed income, equity, Multi-assets, quantitative analysis and portfolio optimization, macroeconomic analysis and operation of financial instruments.- Coordinate joint activities for the effective implementation of projects to execute in a timely manner.- Design efficient processes to improve area strategies, achieve goals, etc.) in conjunction with other areas.- Ensure and monitor compliance with activities related to the implementation of processes.- Compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding investment processes.- Develop controls to monitor the behaviour and performance of the strategies implemented.- Ensure compliance with the Investment Regime through the implementation of controls.**Requirements**:**Experience**- Experience in Investment Companies, Insurance Portfolios, Annuities, Corporate Mandates, and Private Banking, among other portfolios
