What you will do: This position is a key part of global air-cooled chiller engineering team. The primary function of this role focuses on in factory production support and design implementation. This role is expected to serve as a bridge between design engineering team in US and factory in Mexico, strong communication skills are required. How you will do it: Maintains understanding of theories, concepts, technical principles and processes related to mechanical and electrical aspects of air-cooled chiller products Experienced in mechanical design and be able to generate layout concepts and detail drawings and BOMs Supports production to resolve any manufacturing issues, including troubleshooting production units, initiating design changes and deviations, driving on time implementation of released designs Produces engineering/design documentation such as assembly instructions, test procedures, process control record, component specification and etc. Investigates continuous improvement opportunities in regard to manufacturing efficiency, production quality, and cost. Provides product technical assistance to various departments in the factory including Materials, Quality Control, and Safety. Develops and executes test programs to verify performance and reliability of chiller components and systems Supports regulatory compliance efforts, such as UL, CE, PED and ASME Leads small engineering projects and communicate project status internally and externally Occasional domestic and international travel (less than 20%) What we look for: BS in Mechanical Engineering or related science or equivalent Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field Experience in a product manufacturing environment Basic understanding of fundamental business knowledge Knowledge/experience in refrigeration system and components (compressors, heat exchangers) would be desirable Knowledge/experience in electrical engineering (electric motor, motor control, electrical wiring ) would be a plus
