Participate in establishing weekly schedules for the department regarding:
- Passenger transportation
- Mail runs
- Car washing
- Vehicles being taken in for service
- Other duties as needed
- Maintain the garage area in a professional manner.
- Responsible via pager for after-hours limo emergencies.
- Responsible to be on call every 3rd weekend.
- Continually strive for improved services and increased productivity of the Corporate Limo program.
- Perform additional duties as requested by upper management.
- Ensure that limousines are maintained in a mechanically safe operating condition.
- Maintain limousines in a clean condition.
- Keep a complete maintenance file on each vehicle.
- Represent AbbVie in an appropriate manner in all duties.
- 3 years experience as a professional driver and the operation of an executive transportation service.3 years of strong customer service and problem solving experience.
- A keen sense of urgency and ability to establish priorities. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and make on-the-spot decisions, if necessary.
- 3 years protective driving and awareness training
- Must maintain total awareness to one's surroundings when transporting passengers.This includes safe driving habits and awareness of any issues that would impact the safety of the passenger and chauffeur.
- Must be fully rested for the hours that are worked. The effect of non-safe driving habits has an impact on the health and well-being of the passengers, which are in the driver's hands. Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Urgency, accuracy, tact, discretion, professionalism, decorum, and courtesy are always required to be practiced.Continual interruptions and the need to manage many projects, daily responsibilities, and employee needs create a very high demand on the individual.
