.The Deal Services Analyst/Associate will act as the primary operations partner for Corporate Banking coverage teams:- Provide operational support during the execution of Corporate Banking transactions, primarily Lending products- Quarterbacking key milestones in the deal lifecycle in Dealworks: creating deal folders, managing the conflicts submission process, sanctions screening, conducting Counterparty Due Diligence, Environmental and Social Risk Assessment, and client due diligence/Know Your Client processes, etc.- Initiating the KYC process and partnering with the Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) Client Office and Bankers to ensure KYC is completed for new client legal entity on-boarding and new business implementation- Participate in relevant DD calls alongside DCM and GCB Bankers to determine necessary follow up actions- Prepare documentation packs for investors/counterparties when required by agent banks on the KYC'ed entity. Respond to information requests by counterparties- Navigate the firm on behalf of clients and bankers; coordinate with different business groups and facilitate discussions- Monitor deal controls to ensure milestones are met and achieved in a timely manner, with breaks remediated/actioned accordingly- Participate in meetings with Bankers to proactively manage deal pipelines for KYC and deal controls purposes, identify opportunities and potential roadblocks that need to be addressed**Skills & Experience**:- Previous work experience preferred with a background in sales/client service and project management a plus- Previous experience and sound knowledge of investment banking products (Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Equity Capital Markets) as well as Corporate Banking products & processes is a plus- Comfortable dealing with clients/senior executives on a regular basis- Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills- Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolution- Ability and drive to take full ownership of processes- Strong partnership and coordination skills- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.- Proactive/self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners and clients in a dependable, timely and accurate manner- Deliver results in a dependable, timely and accurate manner- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPointJ.P.
