**Product Controller Functional Description**- Partnership with Product managers, P&A and Business Managers to develop a strong understanding of the products and how their activities translate into financial results to enable the implementation and maintenance of a strong control environment.- Active participate in projects and initiatives impacting the business to ensure that product changes and expansion are properly implemented from a controllership and MIS perspective.- Involvement in the month end / quarter end close process for Wholesale Payments products- Detailed review of the monthly balance sheet and P&L, work in the monthly variance analysis template, preparation of monthly PnL reports.- In depth reviews of the balance sheet to ensure appropriate accounting treatment complying to US GAAP Corporate Accounting Policy, account classification and controls.
Liaise with LEC team regarding LOCAL GAAP rules.- Develop strong relationships with the finance team both within the region and globally to ensure effective inter location partnerships and the sharing of best practices.
**Qualification- Professional qualification on Accounting or Business Administration.- 8+ years of financial experience- Microsoft skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint- Digital tool knowledge is a plus (Tableu, Alterix)- Ability to deal with multiple tasks, organized, diligent on prioritize and meet key deliverables.- Able to take ownership and act as leader.
