**-Part-time position**- Remote work except when on site shooting- Must submit CV + sample video portfolio for review and consideration**Responsibilities**- In pre-production you'll be responsible for determining which video equipment (cameras, lenses, lights, camera support, sound, etc.) is needed to execute a shoot- During production, you'll be expected to light the scene, operate camera, and/or direct talent- Work closely with Senior Video Producer to plan shoots based off outlines and direction provided by designated Content Producer and/or Content Director- Manage and communicate (English/Spanish) with interviewees to ensure their comfort and best outcomes- Operate cinema cameras, lighting, sound, and grip equipment- Transports and sets up lighting and grip equipment as required; ability to lift and carry requisite gear- Follow a shot list and improvise better shots when available- Quickly and efficiently setup shots and camera settings- Setup and light interviews using lights and/or natural light- Have a firm understanding of shot composition and using creative angles- Film videos to company specifications- Handle technical issues that arise during production- Use best practices to ensure quality products are delivered in a timely manner- Maintaining all video file and project organization and implements new systems and processes as needed to ensure efficiency of workflow and footage safeguards- Ensuring all media transferred successfully - reviewing files for corruption and checks that all scenes/content are accounted for (i.E that no cards are missing)- Ensuring all raw footage is backed up on cloud server/second source before submitting cards for formatting- Is responsible for final backups and archiving of completed projects**Qualifications**- Bilingual Spanish/English is necessary for this position- Experience shooting interview style footage, indoor/outdoor B-roll, etc.- Must have your own professional grade camera with several lenses- Must have experience working directly and independently with clients as a one-person production team- Must have a car or means of transportation and valid driver's license- Lighting kit, lavalier mikes, and camera support gear is a plus- Must be willing to travel on occasion for remote shoots (Ex/ NYC, Chicago, Miami, etc)- Work Experience: 3-5+ years experience as a videographer/cinematographer, including hands-on experience with professional lighting, video cameras, and sound capture equipmentEducation: Undergraduate degree in video and/or multi-media production, communications or directly related creative field - PREFERREDUbication: Los AngelesTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $5,000.00 al díaHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Seguro de vidaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono de asistenciaLugar de trabajo: Empleo remoto
