As a **civil leader**, you will be responsible for the performance and functionality design of structures and buildings, in which priority is given to the safety and structural integrity of the elements, as well as their occupants and surrounding structures.
The civil leader objective is to validate and guarantee that the structural and non-structural elements comply with the design and operation definitions specified in the project bases, as well as compliance with internal, national and international regulations and standards.
This position reports to the Project Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and guide the supervision of performance engineers, and support contractors and project staff in the disciplines of Civil and Architecture
- Manage and ensure compliance with the designs of concrete structures (electrical building, cisterns, foundations, equipment bases, etc.), and compliance with the designs of steel structures (reaction building, racks, mezzanines, and facades, etc.) approved in the project
- Guarantee the performance (functionality - know-how) established in the development of the basic and detailed engineering of the project during the construction process
- Validate, approve and verify the solution to possible deviations in the construction process of the project
- Guide in the interpretation of civil, structural, architectural plans, and all documents related to the civil-architectural work in the construction process of the project
- Validate the progress and results on site
**Qualifications**
- Level of Education: Civil Engineer
- Having participated in the basic and detailed engineering of the Civil-Structural disciplines of the NNR project
- Work experience of more than 5 years in structural design activities.
- Knowledge of structural design software Etabs, SAFE, RamConnection and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Navis.
- Knowledge of Office packages.
- Solid knowledge of current national and international standards and regulations (NTC-CDMX, CFE earthquake and wind, IMCA, ACI, AISC, among others.)
- Ability to work with projects from various disciplines
- Constant communication with a multidisciplinary team.
- English language 60%
