Job Summary:The Project Supervisor's responsibility is to perform a technical organizational and supervisory role on the field construction of a project and to complete construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling projects; completing quality inspections, supervising sub-contractors and supervision of material and human resources. It is the Project Supervisor's responsibility to protect and promote Sta. Clara's interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to discharge his duties and responsibilities which include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:Detailed Job Description:Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant for use in the construction and forwarding such request well in advance to the project superintendent / construction manager for review and approval prior to issue purchase requisition & equipment requisition order.Coordination and follow-up to project purchaser / warehouseman the schedule of shipment of materials & equipment.Planning the work and efficiently organizing site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines in close coordination with the foremen.Checking the setting out of a project lay-out in coordination with the surveyor.Preparation of request for inspection (RFI) and organizing daily work inspection with the SCIC's QC and consultant.Furnish daily progress report the next day's schedule.Furnish weekly work forecast in the close coordination with the planning engineer and project superintendent.Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that the regulations are adhered to.Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise in the project.Coordination with the planning engineer, QA/QC engineer, quantity surveyor.Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements.Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; To maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the project including the public.Performs other related job/duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.Qualifications:Graduate of BS in Civil EngineeringMust be a Licensed/Registered Civil Engineerwith at least 5-6 years experience as civil supervisor ( Roofing works )willing to start immediatelywilling to work night shift schedule (7:00pm - 4:00 am)Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:8 hour shift#J-18808-Ljbffr
