With over 100 years of expertise at our core, we offer a comprehensive suite of solutions across all lines of business to help our clients manage risk.The RoleAttention to simple and complex claims, especially related to Civil Liability, Professional Liability, Transport and Financial Lines.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependent claims managementRelations with the Insurance marketEvaluate insurance claims to determine coverage and assess damages.Investigate claims by interviewing policyholders, witnesses, and other parties involved.Review police reports, medical records and other pertinent documentation sites to evaluate claims.Negotiate agreements with policyholders, taking into account policy coverage and other pertinent factors.Maintain accurate records of claims, including investigation results, settlement agreements, and other pertinent information.Collaborate with other insurance professionals, including underwriters and legal teams, to ensure timely and accurate handling of claims.Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and other stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.Stay up-to-date on changes to insurance policies, laws, and regulations that may affect claims handling.Identify and report potential fraud or other irregularities related to insurance claims.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceFluent level of English.At least 2-3 years of experience in claims settlement or insurance-related functions.In-depth knowledge of insurance policies and their coverage.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Great negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with clients and other stakeholders.Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements related to the handling of insurance claims.Ability to work in a fast-paced, tight deadlines environment.Great attention to detail and precision.Preferably relevant industry certifications (e.G., CPCU, AIC).Why join Charles Taylor?
