Job Summary:Serves as initial contact for basic claim reporting. Responsible for guiding the caller to the appropriate party based on their need and the relevant policy or claim.Key Responsibilities:- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers- Identifies the customer's need and responds appropriately and efficiently with a sense of urgency- Follows established guidelines specific to each claim report or inquiry- Locates, confirms and documents appropriate information, which may involve multiple systems- Remains current on constant process updates and technology used within the companySupervisory Responsibilities:This job does not have supervisory dutiesPreferred Qualifications:Education and Experience- High School diploma or equivalent experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations- NoneFunctional Skills- Ability to empathize with customer- Experience in customer service or call center- Ability to multi-task (i.E. talking and typing simultaneously)- Organizational and time management skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet skills- Professional verbal and written communication skills- High degree of initiative, mature judgment and discretion- Ability to navigate through multiple systems- Bilingual in English and SpanishIntegon, a Great Place to Work, provides innovative technology and customer support services to major personal lines insurance providers, including Fortune 100 companies rated A+ (Superior), by A.M.
