Job Summary:The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for assisting in the delivery of a broad scope of learning initiatives and delivery of routine and innovative solutions that are aligned with business unit strategies and talent objectives. The Specialist delivers learning material and assists in ongoing skill development.Key Responsibilities:- Assists and provides support in the planning and implementation of learning and development programs- Schedules/maintains courses and sessions- Maintains system resources: facilities, locations, instructors, notifications and roster management protocols- Creates and delivers processes and procedures via job aids, manuals, or facilitation- Documents and reports post training activities- Handles technical questions, issues, and problems that arise during training sessions- Builds client- and team- relationships in carrying out learning and development functions- Provides developmental support to employeesSupervisory Responsibilities:This job does not have supervisory dutiesPreferred Qualifications:Education and Experience- 0 -2 years of related experience- High School Diploma or equivalent experience- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.- Call Center experience (preferred)- Insurance industry knowledge (preferred)- Facilitation experience (preferred)Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- No Certification, License, or Registration is required for this job.Functional Skills- Basic training skills to facilitate learning modules/sessions- Basic interpersonal and project management skills- Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software, Success Factors, and SAP- Ability to work independently, as well as within a team environmentIntegon, a Great Place to Work, provides innovative technology and customer support services to major personal lines insurance providers, including Fortune 100 companies rated A+ (Superior), by A.M.
