Required to attain performance objectives on a monthly basis.Key responsibilities- Review, examine, calculate and make decisions on a variety of claims received in the claims processing unit, to ensure the claim is paid in accordance with the respective policy and within the contracted timeframes.- Conduct research via policies/flipcharts that can provide additional information needed to adjudicate claims.- Enter notes into the computer system/databases as required.- Facilitate stop payment requests and process reissues accordingly.- Place outbound calls to customers or providers to obtain information required to adjudicate a claim.- Create and send various types of professional correspondence.- Respond to inter-departmental inquiries.- Respond to escalations in a timely manner.Qualifications and Education Requirements- Post-secondary education and a minimum of 6-12 months experience in a similar role.- Ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task.- Possess sound judgment and good decision-making skills.- Fluency in French is preferred.We at Allianz believe in a diverse and inclusive workforce and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
