As an onboarding team member, you will assist with operational readiness for implementing defined benefit (pension) and defined contribution (401(k)) retirement plans. You will support the process of client contracting through implementing and funding of the client's investment strategy. You will interact with the client, client teams, operational teams, and the client's third parties, including custodial banks and investment managers, each who also play key roles in the overall project plan that you will maintain.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully manage multiple activities in investment operations for a variety of clients. Respond to requests from internal or external clients for additional information as assignedClearly and efficiently communicate with custodial banks, investment and fund managers, record-keepers and other external parties involved, as well as client servicing and operational teams, to ensure all activities are alignedAdhere to our Professional Excellence principles to ensure that work is completed accurately and to a high standardDemonstrate risk-management excellence and adhere to documented proceduresProvide specialist advice to the various teams in the businessSupport the Operations (Onboarding, Trade Management, Middle Office, Investment Performance and Processing, and Third-Party Oversight) team, developing good working relationships and openly communicating on work matters.
