Position Summary

The Client Support Specialist is the first point of contact for current clients that need assistance with their policies.
This position is responsible for handling incoming client requests in a clear, timely, and professional manner.
They will also support the other service team members when workloads require additional assistance.
This position offers incentives from day one!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Take incoming phone calls/monitor service inbox and fax folder and handle customer needs as they arrive
- Customer Service as needed
- Follow-ups with clients as needed/requested by producers following the first 90 days of the policy
- Document all customer interactions properly.
- Filing Documents and following up on workflow activities as assigned.
- Processing incoming mail as assigned.
- Work with underwriters to implement a plan to retain policies that are being canceled due to underwriting concerns if the policy is over 90 days old.
- Address issues with missing mail, incorrect contact information
- Send and track requests to carriers for endorsements
- While in a client's file, check for cross-selling or up-sell opportunities.
- Rewrite policies that have been canceled as needed.
- Create a target list out of the current customer list to cross-sell property-casualty in addition to life insurance.
- Able to review policies for accuracy and offer improvements in coverage, in addition to options for available discounts and opportunities for cross-selling
- Ask for referrals from customers with good experiences.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree, or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required
- Active P&C license, required
- Previous customer service experience, over the phone preferred
