As we expand our portfolio, we are seeking a Clinical Trials Business Development Manager to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and research institutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
- Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- **Market Research**:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, therapeutic areas, and emerging trends in the clinical trials landscape.
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to stay informed about opportunities and challenges.
- Provide regular updates on market developments to the management team.
- **Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the clinical trials sector.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the client base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations and regulatory affairs, to ensure comprehensive client solutions.
- **Proposal Development**:
- Prepare and present high-quality proposals for clinical research studies.
- Work closely with scientific and regulatory teams to align proposals with industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct presentations and address inquiries from clients during the proposal process.
- **Sales and Revenue Generation**:
- Meet and exceed sales targets for clinical trial services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
- Track and report sales performance to the management team.
- **Networking**:
- Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to promote the company's clinical trial capabilities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-4 years of experience in clinical trials or a related field, with a focus on business development and sales.
- In-depth knowledge of the clinical trial process, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both English & Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets.
