You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers to build tools, automation, and monitoring in support of improving operations and reducing manual work.
Additionally, the Engineering team and manager will be expected to partner with other internal teams within Cloud and R&D to drive improvements in operations and monitoring with a focus around uptime and improving customer experience.
**Where you will make an impact**- Leadership and management of day-to-day operations for the Engineering team- Monitoring and reporting on work delivery against established internal and external SLA's and internal SLO's- Drive a team with a DevOps culture towards improved overall service through the development of solutions to common problems through automation and code-defined processes- Drive adoption and enhancements to Ellucians monitoring platforms- Improve on-call and incident resolution times by designing and implementing automatic recovery solutions- Participate in Problem Management with a focus on uptime impacting issues- Collaborate with other Cloud teams to ensure customer success- Understand, simplify, and automate process to improve systems- Act as a mentor for other Cloud colleagues by:- Training workshops on monitoring and automation best practices- Driving visibility into the environment- Be hands-on in high level work with the team and provide systems architecture guidance and advice- Present metrics and performance data to the Cloud Leadership team, Cloud delivery team and Customer Experience organization leadership teams as needed
