The Cloud Information Security Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding cloud infrastructure. This position involves a comprehensive approach to cloud security, including the development and implementation of robust security policies, continuous monitoring for potential threats, and proactive measures to prevent security breaches. The specialist will work closely with IT and development teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of our cloud operations. Additionally, the role requires staying abreast of the latest security trends and technologies to effectively protect our cloud environments from evolving cyber threats. The specialist will also be responsible for conducting regular security assessments, responding to incidents, and providing detailed reports on security findings and remediation efforts. This role demands a high level of expertise in cloud platforms and security tools, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure.Monitor and analyze cloud environments for security breaches and incidents.Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices.Respond to security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings and remediation efforts.Administer and secure Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements within Microsoft 365.Manage immutable backups to protect data integrity and prevent ransomware attacks.Handle provisioning and deprovisioning of access to cloud resources, ensuring proper access controls are in place.Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.Set up and maintain Outlook Exchange Server.Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems to ensure secure and efficient access control.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud environments.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption).Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security.Knowledge of immutable backups and their implementation.Experience with provisioning and deprovisioning access controls.Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.Experience with setting up and maintaining Outlook Exchange Server.
