Where no two days are the same.YOUR ROLEThis role is focused on cloud security across Apple Services Engineering, with specific responsibilities including:Definition of vision and strategic plansDesign and evaluation of software and infrastructure architecturesResearch on industry landscape and technology developmentsAuthoring technical reports and presentationsPartnering with leaders and engineers to influence and define execution plansPresenting to audiences at varying levels of the organizationOwnership of multi-functional and cross-organizational programs as the "directly responsible individual"Creating prototypes and/or proof of concepts to demonstrate that a proposed solution would workMentorship of junior engineers and technical leadersFostering a collaborative culture of excellence both within the security team and across AppleEducation & ExperienceBS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent proven experienceYOUR PROFILEGood conversational English (C1, C2)Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldAWS Security Specialty CertificationDeep technical expertise in cloud development, cloud infrastructure and services, and secure operations in the cloudBroad understanding of the security and information technology landscape.Significant technical depth in cloud security: Deep understanding of the security models of cloud providers and cloud native operationsHands-on experience in building and deploying software in at least one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure)Hands-on experience in the adoption of cloud technologies at enterprise scaleFamiliarity with open source cloud technologies, such as KubernetesFamiliarity with modern "cloud native"/DevOps practicesFluency in at least one programming language, preferably multipleA broad base of technical knowledge spanning many of the fields of information technologyCommunicate clearly and effectively.
