.**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:- Generate machining programs with G and M code; and modify existing ones to increase efficiency.- Create Work Instructions, Route Sheets and Process Sheets for Operators- Choose the vital cutting tools.- Analyze and select speeds and cutting tools to program them.- Validate first run of the CNC program.- Identify, control and support CNC programs to start or continue the production of parts.- Register programs in CNC machines to start or continue with the production of parts.- Perform rework on non-conforming parts.- Be part of the search, analysis and selection process of CNC equipment for the creation of ARs.- Fixing production processes, fixtures, tools or equipment using Lean, Kaizen and/or Continuous Improvement tools.**Who You Are**:You integrate quantitative and qualitative information to draw accurate conclusions; you ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations. You are an active learner who uses both success and failure as learning opportunities.**For This Role, You Will Need**:- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Engineer with at least 3 years of proven experience.- Knowledgeable in Machining, CNC programming.- Has strong manufacturing background.- Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good verbal and written communication skills.**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:- Engineering Documentation, such as Work Instructions and Set-up Sheets.- Knowledge of CNC specifically in machining centers, turning centers and Swiss lathes.- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).- Quality management systems.- Optimization of resources, labor and costs- Use of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement tools, as well as related improvement projects.- Orientation towards industrial safety- Use of ERP systems.- Ability to tackle problems.- Adaptability to change.- Understanding of the drivers of costs in manufacturing operations.
