Collections Specialist for a Fast Paced Growing Company GC Realty & Development, LLC, is an excellent property management company looking for a driven, tech savvy person to fill their open Collections Specialist role in their rapidly growing property management company.

GC Realty is working with over 400 housing providers, many who are out of state, to provide top notch housing for Chicagoland renters.
We know quality homes and being responsive to resident needs will create satisfied families which helps our clients build a sustainable rental business.
This is especially important when our clients live all around the world and cannot do what we can do on the ground here.
The successful Collections Specialist candidate will be r esponsible for proactively managing the entire collections process, ensuring timely and effective communication with residents and clients regarding delinquent rent.
This role involves making regular collection calls, setting up and monitoring payment plans, and handling difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy .

The job comes with an hourly rate of $6 to $8 USD.

Fun, hard working environment with a team that really cares about their clients and tenants Open and honest communication, able to have difficult conversations effectively Opportunities to learn tons of new things independently What You'll Do Own the Collections Process - Take full responsibility for managing the entire collections process, from initial contact to final resolution, ensuring all delinquent rent issues are handled efficiently and professionally.
Resident Outreach and Payment Plans - Make at least 80 collection calls per day, contacting delinquent residents regularly.
Setting up and managing payment plans, ensuring timely follow-up on missed payments within 24 hours, and overseeing the 5-Day Notice process.
Documentation and System Management - Accurately document all collection activities in internal systems Handle Delinquency Reports and Analysis - Monitor and analyze delinquency reports.
Communication and Customer Service : Follow standardized scripts for resident communication, manage difficult conversations, and provide remarkable customer service through phone, email, and Live Chat.
Ensure all communications are responded to within 2 business hours.
What You'll Bring At least 1 year of experience in Customer Service and Administrative related tasks Provable experience owning Collections processes Fluent English communication skills with a neutral accent Schedule availability to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Standard Time Modern computer equipment and quiet working space Extreme personal initiative and interest in learning with a strong work ethic Organization and planning with the ability to think analytically Desire to focus on required outcomes with on time delivery A love for processes and continuous optimization = Better Results Hunger to learn new software and tech systems with the ability to be flexible and adaptive to changes What We Need Your updated resume in English.
