Collections Specialist

Job Description:**Responsibilities**:- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely rent payments.- Contact tenants to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment plans when necessary.- Communicate effectively with tenants regarding outstanding balances and payment options.- Provide clear explanations of late fees, policies, and procedures related to rent collections.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant accounts, payment arrangements, and communications.- Prepare and send notices for late payments or potential eviction proceedings.- Address tenant inquiries and concerns related to billing and collections professionally and promptly.- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve tenant issues and concerns.Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role- 1-2 years of experience in property management- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to negotiate effectively and maintain positive tenant relations- Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate and organized records- Understanding of relevant local and state laws governing collections and eviction processesAdditional InformationEmployment Type: Full-timeLanguages: English, Spanish**Salary**: 7 USD per hourWhat to expect?**Salary**: $17,188.13 - $19,250.00 per month**Experience**:- Collections: 2 years (required)- Property Management: 1 year (required)**Language**:- English (required)Work Location: Remote
