To protect the company's investment in debtors by ensuring a prompt turnover of debtors into cash through proactive cash collection whilst minimizing exposure of risk to the P&L.
Job Description Strong end to end knowledge of collections and dispute resolution.
Manage collection processes, from early-stage courtesy calls through debt collection through escalation for non-payment across your entire customer profile. Each customer should be touched at least once per month as per the assigned strategy.
Own the Sales Ledger for your account performing proactive customer reconciliations to identify and resolve issues prior to due date. Perform regular housekeeping to ensure that credit notes and low balances are resolved by the end of each month.
Raise disputes in a timely manner (prior to due date) and ensure that these are followed through to resolution by the relevant department.
Provide customer with regular information as to what is owing through the provision of Dunning Letters, Customer Statements and any other appropriate line of communication.
Suport other finance operations by providing and receiving information from customers regarding billing and cash application.
Maintain call logs, promise to pay dates, excuse codes and any other commentary needed to understand the account position.
Analyze aging debt reports, initiate and receive calls from customers.
Maintain low levels of past due debt on your accounts working alongside the sales organisation and the customer to resolve aging items.
Continuously seek out better ways of performing process & support process improvement initiatives.
Ensure process is fully documented and that Standard Operating Procedure's (SOP's) are revised and maintained on a quarterly basis.
Provide cover for other analysts in the team during times of holiday or sickness. Offer a level of availability that mirrors that of the Business Unit you are supporting.

Ability to analyze issues, apply or seek resources to help achieve a workable solution.
Organized & detail oriented.
Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Flexible, highly motivated, and with a 'Can Do Attitude' focused to deliver the results and succeed
Requirement & Qualification: Minimum 2 years of experience in collections.
Due to the global nature of the role, proficiency in English language is a must. French is a plus.
Distinctive customer orientation and interacts courteously with customers.
Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
Positive attitude and a strong team player
Strong competence in Excel to analyze and report data.
Desired work experience in Oracle.
Working Experience in Shared Services/F&A.
