Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.

About the role The Collections Strategies Sr. Analyst supports activities and processes related to the collection of both the regular and salvage collection portfolios. Particularly, his/her scope of action includes responsibilities in the monitoring and control of the expenses of the areas, analyzing and monitoring operating expense information for applicable cost centers, explaining and execution any action required because of any differences between our business plan and these results, creating forecasts to evaluate future expenses and ensure that the expenses generated are correctly lodged. Likewise, it will maintain timely monitoring of the contracts corresponding to service providers to anticipate renewal or termination when required. Another key activity of this position is the identification and development of digital automations in the area, either through the design of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as well as approaching IT to propose different automation options.

What you need Bachelor's degree in Actuary, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, or similar.+3 years of relevant work experience in banking, financial services, data science, or similar.Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Analytical capabilities.Interest in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) development.Effective oral and written communication.Proficient computer skills, including – Excel (advanced), Access (advanced), Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI (desirable), and macro development.Proficient English skills, both verbal & written. What you will be doing Analyze and monitor monthly/quarterly/yearly operational expenses information.Communicate to team leaders, managers, and directors about the results and the corresponding analysis of operating expenses.Create operational expenses forecasts.Perform analysis and research to explain any differences between our business plan and the operational expenses results.Prepare ad hoc analyses for the management of the corresponding cost centers.Maintain thorough knowledge of expenses data/information sources.Contact with operations and financial areas is necessary to fulfill certain tasks.Review and monitor supplier contracts to maintain current contracts and anticipate their renewal.Development of digital automation solutions. (Training will be provided).Collaborate with process owners to understand and validate automation requirements.Summarize and formulate viable recommendations for the improvement of business.Set a standard for excellence to ensure high quality of delivery and continuous improvement.Support in ad-hoc activities.
