Optimize the PVC/TPO color process to reduce scrap, increase productivity, realize cost reductions and continuous improvement to have a better product quality.
Responsible to standardize process procedures and methods to avoid operational failures.
The process engineer works with a process-focus on improvements in series production and if it's necessary in pre-series materials and other processes of the production line.
Leads process improvement projects (all process
related projects - scrap reduction, performance
improvements, improvement of process stability and
repeatability etc.)
- Define Color recipes / CMB adjustments, gloss and
lacquer diagonals for series production and if it's
necessary in pre-series production also.
- Commissioning, ramp-up, standardization and
training on new or existance color processes
- Creation and updating of Process FMEA of
assigned process
- Creation and updating of work instructions /
standard operations instructions
- Statistical process analysis
- Customer complaints - support in analysis, definition and implementation of corrective actions.
- Improvement of the product quality from the color process perspective.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related.
- Advanced level of english
- At least 1 year of experience in Color Process Area.
- Previous experience in Automotive Areas.
- Knowledge of polyolefin and PVC plastics (highly desired)
- Quality Core Tools (desirable )
- Project Management (desirable )
- Six Sigma / MiniTab (desirable )
- SAP knowledge will be a strong plus.
