Kiwapower aims to be the leading independent distributed solar power producer in Mexico, serving industrial and commercial customers.
We invest in rooftop solar photovoltaic systems and sell the electricity generated on-site under medium or long-term power purchase agreements that provide significant benefits to our clients.We are looking to hire a talented undergraduate student or recently graduated student, with exceptional analytical and commercial skills, with an interest in renewable energy and sustainability as well as learning about the energy sector in Mexico.As a Commercial Analyst intern, you will be expected to perform the following (non-exhaustive) tasks:- Work with the commercial team in the preparation and follow-up of proposals for potential clients in Mexico- Analyze consumer data and help refine Kiwapower's offering- Work as part of the commercial team on the analysis of potential opportunities- Establish a close relationship with the technical team and be able to understand and diligently review technical analysis- Understand Kiwapower's financial model and proposal developing tool- Participate in meetings and constantly interact with our customers**Requirements**:- Undergraduate student, with preferably 1-2 semesters left before graduation- Recently graduated student, preferably 1 year out of university- Be very dedicated, analytical, reliable, and hard working- Business, finance or engineering degree from a reputable university and grade average above 9.0- Advanced English (proficient written and oral communication)- Based in Mexico CitySkills to be acquired:- Understanding and addressing client needs in a complex environment- Developing communication abilities with clients and within a multicultural team- Power generation project structuring and tariff pricing methods- Understanding of energy sector regulation- Data analysis- TeamworkVery competitive compensation and growth prospects with the opportunity of being incorporated as a full time analyst, as part of an independent power producer funded by one of the leading Japanese trading companies.
