.A Snapshot of Your DayThe Commercial Project Manager is responsible for the completion of all projects related to commercial and financial matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Export Compliance and Control topics.
The CPM ensures compliance with applicable regulations during the offer and project execution phase and supports the respective Project Manager in executing the project according to defined PM @ Siemens Energy guidelines/standards, customer requirements, and applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines.
Professional collaboration between the CPM and the Project Manager is key for overall project success.How You'll Make an ImpactSupports the PM in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.G., project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments).Ensures an adequate handover phase, analyzes customers' requirements, examines their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability, including ECC matters.Drives the review and evaluation of contract conditions, including all attachments, ensuring examination by Legal.Ensures accurate methodology for identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks & opportunities, strategies, and mitigation activities.Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculations as well as overall project financials, including recording in appropriate systems, e.G., SAP.Performs applicable requirements for month-end activities.Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of project financials (i.E., FC, cash flow).Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements.Identifies and minimizes non-conformance costs, establishes an appropriate reporting structure, and supports the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general.Directs compliance with standards, rules, and regulations of (commercial) project members to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines.Supports the customer's requirements and expectations with the Project Manager.Ability to interpret and execute contract (customer and supplier) terms and conditions.Supports the PM in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies, and response activities – taking over full responsibility in this regard for all commercial risks and opportunities.Represents the project in relevant decision boards internally and externally.What You BringAccounting or business administration degree.2-3 years of experience.English at a professional working proficiency level.About the TeamWho is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
