Coordinates all strategic sourcing activities for the assigned Categories including financial analysis. Compiles the aggregate demand for assigned Categories across all Integer locations to leverage spend for contract negotiations.Identifies competitive suppliers and develops comprehensive supplier knowledge & database.Identifies insourcing and outsourcing opportunities.Guide respective internal stakeholders through a systematic Commodity approach to material & supplier selection and management.Promotes and works towards a continuous (year-on-year) value improvement for all aspects of quality, service and cost with assigned supply base. Manages supplier performance and identifies Continuous Improvement Programs to improve TCO accordingly.Ensures optimal balance between collaborative engagement and competitive pressure with supply base to ensure maximum value is realized, including negotiation or value improvements and optimal supplier contracts.Manages strategic supplier relationships in line with the Commodity Strategy.Negotiates supplier agreements and works with Contract Management and Legal teams to ensure the assigned Categories are covered contractually with favorable commercial terms.Works with the cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, operations) to determine business needs and drive the implementation of the Commodity Strategy Plan.Uses project management and problem-solving skills to resolve supplier issues and support sourcing strategy execution.Works closely with Finance and Supply Chain Analytics teams to ensure that standards, and savings data is accurate for the assigned Categories during the budgeting and forecasting processes.Owns annual budget process for assigned suppliers as well as crisis or systematic issue resolution.Ensures supplier selection for NPI programs that provide lowest total cost, required quality and delivery levels with minimum level of risk in line with Integer's commodity strategies.Establishes early involvement in NPI program sourcing to achieve development performance goals, support project timelines, and manage product cost.Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.Other duties as assigned.Education & Experience:Minimum Education: BS/BA degree in engineering, supply chain management or equivalent is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Professional Certification: CPSM, Six Sigma certification is preferred.Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of sourcing/supply chain management experience in a multi-location manufacturing-based business, preferably medical device, aerospace or automotive industries. At least 2 years of Commodity management experience, preferably electronics and/or metals.Knowledge & Skills:Specialized Knowledge: Specific commodity and industry expertise. Negotiating and procurement principles.Special Skills:Must have strong, demonstrated negotiation experience/skills.Must have project management experience including root cause analysis, cross-functional mediation and facilitation.Demonstrated track record of implementing Commodity strategies resulting in significant financial and operational benefits for the organization.Demonstrated track record of cost reduction is required.Experience in Medical Device Industry preferred.ERP experience (in-depth understanding of procurement, MRP applications) is desired.Good understanding of how supply chain / sourcing interacts with other functions.Experience in strategic sourcing approaches including value chain analysis, cost models, ESI, partnership development.Direct experience in supplier contract negotiations.Ability to build supplier relationships at all levels.Ability to operate both at strategic and tactical level.Strong strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to apply a long-term view while ensuring day-to-day delivery of results.Advanced technical knowledge including various manufacturing processes and the ability to read and understand blueprints.Strong financial acumen especially as related to sourcing and supply chain.Detail-oriented with strong quantitative analytical skills.Proactive, ability to meet aggressive deadlines and maintain strong internal customer focus required.Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.Recognized inside and outside the organization as subject matter expert.Other:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Team player.
