- Lead negotiations for raw material, MRO and/or services. Setting as a goal to establish agreements for terms, conditions and pricing with suppliers based on our cost quality and service objectives - Communicates to the supplier base Kenmex 's targets for delivery, lead time and cost reduction (price). Coordinate meetings with the suppliers in conjunction with purchasing and supplier quality - To develop and implement cost reduction initiatives in raw material and/or MRO purchases and coordinate necessary activities with the correlated teams working on this activity such engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, etc. - Support inventory reduction through negotiation of VMI, Contract PO, Kanban, consignment programs. - Maintain purchasing terms such price, lead time, lot size, payment terms and vendor contact information up to date as well as weekly reports. Send specifications notification to suppliers in a timely manner as well as insure proper registration in the control log. Invoice resolution on a timely manner for match exceptions - Govern purchasing practices and communication tools to ensure compliance in accordance to the quality system and SOX requirements - Monitor monthly PPV and or MRO savings results; provide monthly, quarterly and annual results for PPV and savings, as well as the calculation of the annual impact on cost variations by raw material - Coordinate returns of materials to suppliers and monitor credits in the financial systems as well as negotiate rework charges to vendors - Lead discontinuation projects for Raw Material with different multidisciplinary departments - Evaluate and establish the necessary documentation for the selection of suppliers based on the quality system guidelines - Attend and provide support on all Audits for Sourcing & MRO Activities - Lead or provide support for all sourcing related Quality Plans and CAPA - Notification of any act or unsafe condition and any environmental risk detected in the plant
Experiência y requisitos
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree: Administrative professional or Engineering - 3 to 5 years in similar position - Advanced English - APICS desirable - BPCS/ MRP System - Microsoft Office Functional Competencies: - Negotiations - Tenacious - Accountable - Enthusiasm - Genuine - Inclusive - Inventive
