Develops and implements the sourcing strategies to achieve lowest total costs, improve supplier panel healthiness, improve working capital, drive effective asset management, achieve quality improvement, ensure on-time delivery, ensure early supplier involvement in product development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport development and implementation of plans with cross-functional partners to meet annual goals which includes Supplier strategy, negotiations with suppliers for cost-reduction, adding new suppliers, working capital improvement, and supplier quality.Manage direct engagement with suppliers and internal functional teams globally to drive implementation of the supply strategy and ensure success of the supply chain.Lead cross-functional global teams to achieve objectives; play an active role in resolving critical quality and delivery issues with suppliers (comprehensive ownership of supplier performance).Develop a panel of healthy suppliers in each region to achieve the desired business results.Work closely with engineering, customer teams, and regional procurement teams to ensure future needs in terms of new technologies and new supplier addition are identified and addressed while deciding commodity strategy.Define procurement strategy for short (AOP) and long (STRAP) terms in accordance with customer needs and specifications.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS5-8 years of global experience in Strategic Sourcing or a related field.Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, purchasing, operations, or a related discipline.Sourcing experience in the following or similar industries: Automotive.Sourcing experience (RFQ process, offers evaluation, technical understanding of the offers).Negotiation experience (negotiables, getting into the detailed cost drivers, understanding needs vs. wants, understanding cultural differences).Project management (rail of actions, working with different functions for a common goal, time tracking).Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-functional environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
