**Commodity Management Professional - Field Services NA/LA Region**:
**A Snapshot of Your Day**
As a Commodity Management Professional, individual will be a member of our Global Strategic Procurement team, supporting managing Field Services commodity.
In this position/role individual will interact with the reginal procurement leads and with global commodity manager(s) to drive the implementation initiatives of the appropriate strategy(ies) of the Field Services commodity for Gas Services (GS) and Transformation Industry (TI) Business Areas.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Manage Field Service Commodity locally/regionally and foster cross-functional alignment within area of responsibility.
- Ensure the development and implementation of procurement initiatives, productivity programs, and measures to achieve the maximum contribution towards applicable targets.
- Support cross-segment and cross-location synergy realization while optimization of overall cost performance (TCO, on-time delivery according to customer request, non-conformance cost)
- Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate service level contracts, rate cards and document them in relevant Supplier Management IT-system(s).
- Ensure high level of contract coverage of suppliers through negotiations of local/regional contracts and price lists.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams locally/regionally to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities.
- Strong interface to, Project Procurement, Project Management, Supplier Quality Management as well as Erection & Commissioning Function
- Mitigate procurement risks and avoid NCC through risk management while maintaining highest level of Health & Safety standards within Supply Chain.
- Support/lead supplier selection, regular supplier and strategic evaluations, supplier qualification and supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain for the region.
- Support PVO transparency activities (regionally/globally), amongst others, correct ESN coding to ensure a correct reporting and to derive an appropriate commodity strategy.
- Support/lead communication of strategy(ies) to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials and strategic Global Value Sourcing.
- Foster collaborative approach within a team environment.
**What You Bring**
- BA/BS- in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of collective experience working in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sourcing, Engineering, Field Service, Technical discipline, or similar function.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills, Business oriented.
- Experience managing Long Term Contracts and negotiating complex terms and conditions.
- Mature understanding of multiple aspects of supply chain value stream.
- Ability to work effectively in a global organization.
- Experience utilizing financial and data-driven techniques to make decisions.
- Must be flexible to travel when needed (both domestically and internationally).
- Must be willing to learn and drive a change in a global environment, along with ability to influence through effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (German is a plus)
- Capacity to negotiate and to operate in different cultures.
- Technology knowledge of Product and Services is a plus.
- Commercial and contract law knowledge, is a plus
