To standardize indirect commodities, development and management of supply chain relationships, and drive further site cost reductions across the Flex portfolio through Supply Chain consolidation and development of cost savings strategies.What a typical day looks like:- Responsible for supporting indirect material sourcing and supply base management strategies and policies.
Participate and provide direction in the development of preferred suppliers working closely with regional and global leadership.- Work closely with regional and global leadership to develop strategies that will drive synergy savings.- Implement and communicate strategic and preferred commodity plans designed to meet site performance goals.- Meet or exceed published cost reduction goals with agreed-to time frames, establish long-term relationships that benefit Flex worldwide.- Monitor current market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply-demand challenges.- Work with site purchasing managers to develop the scope of work for services to optimize project costs by implementing approved quotation process.- Provide guidance, direction and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex estimating and/or procurement assignments.- Drive strategic negotiations with key suppliers to ensure best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for Flex- Work closely with regional leadership and with Indirect Procurement Site teams to develop strategies that will drive synergies savings across the sites.What you'll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.HS115Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:.
