With a comprehensive global footprint, we design, develop, manufacture and integrate an extensive range of driveline technologies for over 90% of the world's car manufacturers.**Role Purpose**Acting as a specialist within the assigned commodity to assess potential new suppliers, develop existing suppliers and lead CI/VAVE activities within the Commodity. Ensure GKN and Automotive Standards (IATF 16949 etc.) are being followed and that all supplied products are within agreed specifications.**Essential Functions**- Programme APQP for regionally based Suppliers- Remote and onsite Run & Rate capacity documentation Reviews and confirmation- Input for Risk Assessment for Programmes.- Manage key performance indicators for assigned suppliers - PPM, complaints, cost recovery etc- Critical Characteristic management implementation and Traceability assessment per component- Complaint Management - Structured Problem solving (using A3, 8D, PDCA, FTA) including auditing to validate actions- Initiate top focus programme with worst performing suppliers- Audits to VDA 6.3 and CQI Special process assessment- VA/VE validations at Suppliers**Essential Qualifications**- B.S Degree Engineering or related- Master´s Degree or Equivalent Level desirable- English proficiency- Visa and Passport**Essential Experience**- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Formal problem-solving skills (5WHYs, 8D, fishbone, PPS, etc.)- Experience with core quality tools, APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP and SPC- Practical auditing experience to VDA 6.3 and Special process audit check lists such as CQI 11, 17 and CQI 23- Lead supplier development strategy, designing the metrics for the function and supplier performance- Plastic, boots and Rubber molding processes- Experience as a Supplier quality engineer/Manufacturing in Traction inverter, ECU, E-Motor Products.- Experienced in SMT Process (Surface mount Technology)- Experience in Automotive inverter manufacturing process- Experience in Automotive inverter E-Motor Process**Essential Competencies**- Practical problem solving- Leadership and charisma- Capability to work in teams as leader or team member, strong collaborator- Ability to communicate at all levels (Shop floor to Boardroom)- Ability to influence at senior levels- Complex negotiation skills- Ability to manage own time and meet deadline- Flexibility- Synergies- APQP Process- Competence in Auditing (internal/external)- Gauge, Design & Tolerancing (GDT)- GKN Automotive StandardsPlease attach your resume in english
