Start your journey.American Express global business travel is seeking a creative, positive, proactive self-starter to join our team. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. As communications and commercial support, you'll be in charge of ensuring all commercial teams have the required and needed material for them to have conversations with prospects and clients. You'll supervise the work done by the designers to describe the message needed for each project and review all pieces to ensure compliance with brand guidelines. The Communications and commercial support will offer service to all internal clients such as Sales, Client Management, and occasionally HR and Operations. Good social relations will be required to understand other areas' needs and excellent organizational skills to quickly assign timelines to projects.What You'll DoContent creation: Writing internal and external communications for both internal areas, clients, and prospects. Also writing press releases, newsletters, and website copy when needed.Event planning: Coordinating internal events such as trainings, staff meetings, recognition, or general company status events for a large number of employees. Press conferences occasionally, and client events such as small breakfasts or dinner meetings.Campaign planning: Build, craft and write email campaigns for clients and prospects as part of the brand awareness strategy on a monthly basis. Developing effective corporate communication strategies.Review, approval, and feedback on brand use in the creation of pieces in other areas of the company.Sales Presentations and RFP documents creation, with special attention to branding usage.Translation of global documents and communications for clients.Translation and localization of global presentations, brochures, one-pagers, etc., as well as creation of new external material for local commercial teams.What We're Looking ForExperience and knowledge of handling communications in a formal language and knowing the brand is always exposed.Bilingual (English - Spanish).Sense of urgency and order of priorities.Resilient, flexible, and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal.Excellent active listening skills.Self-learning and quick response to upcoming inquiries.Story-telling ability when crafting external presentations.Attention to detail and good organization
