Position DescriptionOur main mission at amma pregnancy tracker is to provide emotional and informational support to expectant families.
To achieve this, we are creating a dedicated community: a separate part of our application designed to foster communication, exchange experiences, and provide mutual support.Having successfully launched our first community in Spain, we are now expanding to the LATAM region.
To make our community a safe and engaging space for communication and a reliable source of information, we are looking for a talented and proactive Community Manager.
This person will be responsible for creating and managing content, fostering engagement, and growing our community.This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in community management, content creation, and a keen interest in medical or parenting topics.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation: Develop content (texts and media materials) for the community.
We plan to create a centralized base of content localized for various languages and regions.
We expect the Community Manager to use approximately 80% curated content from this base and create 20% localized content based on regional events.Community Moderation: Moderate the community by monitoring comments, ensuring a safe and positive environment, and gathering content ideas based on user interests and discussions.Community Engagement: Act as a topic starter, initiating and maintaining discussions in community groups.Expert Collaboration: Identify, recruit, and collaborate with experts to create posts, participate in discussions, and conduct Q&A sessions.Requirements:A perfect candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in community management and content creation.Being located in the LATAM region (time zone GMT-6 or nearby) is essential, as working during local hours of activity is important.As we want users to feel fully immersed in the community, we require a candidate with high proficiency in Mexican Spanish.
English is necessary for effective communication within the team.Experience working with medical or parenting topics, as well as hand-on experience of pregnancy and raising a baby is highly desirable.
