IBI Groups Mexico Office is searching for a Financial Controller with solid experience with the Big Five accounting firms to join its growing team.
You will be an integral member of the Finance Team to work on IBI Group's Latin Americaofficeoperations, accounting and finance processes.Duties and Responsibilities:
Office and project accountingPreparation of journal entries, ensuring adherence to IFRSManagement of the bank accounts, cash flow and local taxation issuesParticipation in the auditors Quarterly Reviews and Annual AuditPreparation of the annual budget together with the Head of the Office and working with various offices in Latin America to address any questions related to the budget and ongoing forecastingSupporting the head of the Office in preparation of business plans, financial analysis, bidding etcSupervision of the preparation of the salaries and the expense reports reimbursementFinancial Reporting & AnalysisParticipate in various ad-hoc projects, as requiredProvide innovative solutions to improveexisting processesQualificationsSkills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or alternatively bookkeeping qualificationCPA designation may be advantage3 to 5 years of experience in a finance\ Accounting department of a corporateSelf-learning skills and proactive approach for solving problemsStrong Excel skillsSelf-motivated and innovative thinkingFull command of the English language:
