Companies invite you to their processes.4.Creating an account is completely free.About position.As a Compensation and Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the company's pay scale complies with ever-changing country and federal laws and regulations; oversee the company's performance evaluation system; handle employee benefits and reward systems such as bonuses, merit raises, and pay-for-performance plans.Regarding the Payroll area, you will oversee the day-to-day functions of the Spanish Speaking payroll processes, select the right provider and make the best decisions based on the business needs.The position will be responsible for the monthly pay cycle, paying approximately 100+ people (Spanish Speaking current headcount), and ensure that raises are handled correctly and fairly.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely processing of the global payroll, payroll funding, tax filing on a pay period and ongoing basis.Responsible for running retro pay calculations, pay calculations, as well as closing each of those.Responsible for reviewing all payroll entries for accuracy and partnering heavily with Human Resources on anomalies and day to day issues concerning the payrolls.Responsible for successfully balancing, settling, and closing the payrolls each period.Oversee processing and distribution of paychecks.Build and Identify opportunities for processimprovement and execute change management for said improvements.Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls and advise Executive team, Global Payroll of any inadequacies.General knowledge of accounting standards/procedures as well as federal, state, and local rules/regulations, along with country-specific pay practices.Assist the Payroll Accountant with the monthly payroll bank reconciliation, answering questions, and researching anomalies.Write and run ad-hoc reports out of the payroll system to be delivered to various business partners on set schedules.Assist in any upgrades or enhancement testing with HR, HRIS, Benefits or other business partners.Develop and evolve Compensation model including pay scale and structure.Determine competitive wage rates and change as necessary.Ensure that the company's pay scale complies with changing state and federal laws and regulations.Oversee the distribution of pay to employees.Work with managers to help develop promotion and retention strategies for existing employees.Develop a department budget and keep operations within that budget.Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, human resources or related field preferred.2+ years in similar position payroll, compensation in LatAm positions.A thorough understanding of payroll entries and how they affect ledger accounts
