The main responsibility of this role is to contribute to the key policy adequacy strategy implementation and execution for the Bank, including coordination of the strategy, setting up the governance, assisting in the definition of the target operating model, infrastructure, and generating Sr. Management reporting. This will allow having a revised end-to-end process related to the policy inventory, making sure to being aligned to the regulatory requirements.
The position is under the Office of Governance and Control area, specifically in the Governance and Franchise Risk unit.
**Responsibilities**:
- Contributes to the development, maintenance, implementation and execution of enterprise-wide standards and strategies to strengthen and enhance the Bank's policy framework.
- Provides guidance to the applicable business / function stakeholders and partners globally in all matters affecting the policy adequacy strategy and works closely with them to ensure the most effective use of tools and resources in the process.
- Drives the strategy and performance of the policy governance and is a key contributor to many other strategic initiatives.
- Establishes and manages the policy framework to identify and assess regulations and risks for each line of business to determine appropriate risk coverage.
- Identifies and analyzes risks, and regulations specific to the policy inventory.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation, and safeguarding the Bank, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

**Qualifications**:
- 6-10 years' experience in financial institutions, with a demonstrated understanding of compliance, legal, control, and / or risk domains, and the business.
- Experience in the development, compilation, and management of policies and procedures.
- Data analytics knowledge, data storytelling, data mining proficiency is key.
- Reporting / dashboard development and automation.
- Experience using databases and other tracking tools to enforce consistency.
- Compliance / risk-oriented experience is required.
- Balanced blend of analytical skills, problem solving, reporting and communication skills.
- Advanced organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking and following up.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Experience working collaboratively across various areas of the organization and presenting to senior management.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially master's degree.
