The team is a group of talents from technology, market making and venture capital backgrounds.We are expanding into Mexico and this role is critical for Compliance and licensing for Mexico & US expansions.Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Manager with both fintech payments compliance experience, preferably with a law background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company complies with all applicable regulatory requirements in Mexico but will also assist with US regulatory License approvals (SEC, FinCEN, IRS).Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures for the company's fintech payments businessOwn the regulatory license application and maintain the relationship with Regulators, Banks & third parties in Mexico & US.Monitor and assess the company's compliance with applicable regulations & laws and industry standards and report to senior management.Manage regulatory filings, inspections, and audits.Stay current with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and advise senior management on compliance-related risks and opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance measures and controls, including customer due diligence (KYC & AML), transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees and partners.Maintain effective relationships with regulators, industry associations, and other stakeholders.Investigate and respond to compliance-related incidents, issues, and inquiries.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related field.At least 4 years of relevant experience in compliance management, experience in either payments or securities trading.Strong knowledge of Mexican & US regulations for Trading & Payments.Experience with regulatory filings, inspections, and audits.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.If you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Manager with finance compliance experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
