Compliance Operations Supervisor - Global Trade Compliance

This role has been designated as 'Office', which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting.

**How you'll make your mark**:

- Be ready to join, supervise, motivate and recognize a fast 24X7 transaction-based written decision making process environment.
- Establish operational and strategic training plan to maintain quality focused performance team-oriented team.
Ensuring team attains positive assessment results, as evidenced in audit trail in SAP & SharePoint systems.
- Define operational and performance goals for staff members.
- Establish quality control strategies and metrics to ensure SLA achievements.
- Reviews performance metrics on regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Use data analytics to measure team performance, get trend and backlog analysis and implement continuous process improvement, reporting and communicating results to management levels as needed.
- Analysis of backlog management in order to provide timely and effective scheduling plan for 24X7 coverage.
Work closely with counterparts in both regions.
- Gather demand data from current and future programs in order to perform scheduling and FTE (from both team and BoTs).
- Collaborate with regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance current business processes.
- Perform research and analysis on priority projects within established guidelines.
- Communicate requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams.
- Manage, hire, evaluate and provide direction for team members.
- This is an Office position - expectation that the individual is in the office collaborating F2F with team and other stakeholders, at minimum 3-4 days per week and in alignment with the company rules/changes.
- This is a position that requires working on weekends, afternoon hours.
To work within local law hour requirements.
- This is a position that requires coordination and attendance of weekly training and management and organizational led meetings.
- Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency (automation, RPA) tracking of activities and projects.
- Work with other GT teams, Business Partners and/or IT teams to resolve issues, including actively participation in war rooms and escalation paths.

**About you**:

- First level university degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a supply chain function.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience.
- 2 years of experience in RPL.
- Strong knowledge of demand and supply planning processes and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills in local language and English (e.g.
written, verbal, presentation).
- Knowledgeable of country specific legislative and regulatory compliance (e.g., import and export regulations; trade restrictions, EH&S).
- Utilizes the expertise of others as necessary.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytics and data modelling skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong people management skills, including managing teams within scope of responsibility as well as outside sphere of direct control.
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, data modelling, and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills (e.g.
written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English and local language.
