If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join Global Service Centre HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Compliance Services Governance and Reporting**The HSBC Compliance Governance and Reporting team supports the Chief Compliance Officer and the rest of the Compliance function by ensuring governance committees are run effectively, reporting is provided to internal and external stakeholders, and Compliance colleagues are supported in the execution of their duties.Support the US Compliance team and the Compliance Risk Management Program (CRMP) within Compliance Governance and Reporting.
The role may include all, or a combination of the following: governance committee organization, report creation, training support, issues management, risk remediation, and other duties required to maintain an effective Compliance Program.Main activities:- Collect relevant data from stakeholders- Analyze the information provided and decide the fitness for reporting- Contact stakeholders, some at a senior level, to request deliverables, ask for clarifying information, seek additional information- Think critically to challenge inputs and develop and present conclusion.- Draft reports and run meetings with key stakeholders to finalize- Consolidate meeting packs and submit for presenting into high-level committee meetings- Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, action items and follow up till resolved- Draft executive summaries to various risk management meetings and other committees- Track due dates, deliverables, training requirements, etc.
to support the overall team calendar- Provide governance support to the Mexico team working on behalf of US ComplianceRequirementsKnowledge & Experience- Holds minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business or commerce/ Compliance or Risk- Experience in Financial / Banking Services Industry desired- Experience and understanding of US banking regulatory structure desired- Well-developed communications and organizational skills- Strong English verbal /written skills- Proficiency with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point) required- Experience with HSBC Compliance or Risk desired¡You'll achieve more when you join HSBC!
