**RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)**:
The ongoing responsibilities of the Compliance Tech are related to be the link between shipping, receiving, purchasing and planning areas, customs broker and Compliance specialist to ensure the information declared is accurate, aid the department to maintain the inventory of the IMMEX program properly managed and be able to clear the border on time with no findings.
Customs Compliance.
- Northbound/Southbound operation. Receive shipping documents or import documents, issue commercial invoices, ensure compliance to Mx regulations to prepare documents for all shipments and obtain approval by Compliance Specialist.
- Gather all invoices and documents issued during the week, that are required to authorize the pedimento for the operations performed from the Monterrey facility.
- Labeling process for fix asset (FA).
- Support the physical and electronical record keeping of pedimentos.
- Update matrix pedimento control report.
- Monitor inspection program, and findings.
- Provide training to inspectors to validate physical information against system transactions.
- Generate weekly metrics based on gathered information.
- Maintain share point site; weekly update - graphs and inspection results (PDF files).
- Monitor broker website database in order to process import/export operation.
- Update current reports import/export.
- Keep direct communication with departments involved.
**SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)**:
- Intermediate experience in Compliance/Shipping/Receiving operation (2-3 years).
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Management.
- Technical international commerce degree or in progress.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Experience on customs clearance documents.
- Able to quickly adapt to constant changes and meet deadlines.
- Monitor operation performance daily; report findings and update SharePoint.
- Self-motivated and able to research and solve problems
- Control of customs clearance documents (Invoices & BOLs)
- Attention to detail
- Communications skills
- Sense of urgency
- Able to track and follow process and instructions.
