ResponsibilitiesMaintain the quality of mechanical components catalog used by EXFO;Review and approve specifications of components designed by R&D designers;Work closely with suppliers to make sure they are meeting EXFO specifications;Write and maintain quality inspection plans of incoming material;Communicate non-conformities to suppliers and work with them on corrective actions;Participate in cost reduction projects by qualifying new suppliers or working in continuous improvement projects with current suppliers;Monitor technology changes/evolutions in the machining, sheet metal working, and plastic injection molding industries and communicate them to EXFO's technical groups;Recommend new suppliers and technologies to the R&D teams;Visit and audit suppliers;QualificationsExcellent communication abilities;Fluent in Spanish and English (read and write);Capable of working on multiple mandates at the same time and good priority management;Leadership, teamwork, and autonomy abilities;Willingness to travel within and outside Mexico;EXFO is an equal opportunity employerDiversity is an asset that has made EXFO strong since its inception because it enriches us.
