BREG Inc.: - A leading manufacturer of over 200 medical products, is currently searching for a Buyer Jr for our Mexicali plant. Our innovative products are widely recognized in the U.S. and International marketplaces and we are considered one of the fastest growing health care manufacturers. - This Position is responsible for sourcing assigned parts, components, raw materials and/or tooling to support internal customers, including Engineering and Production. - Continually improves product quality, delivery, gross margin, reliability and manufacturing at the México facility. - Accountable for supplier relationships from original sourcing, through bidding, selection, contracting, delivery, payment and performance measurement. - Manage offshore commodities using a Kan Ban or ROP process for planning and procurement. - Is able to accept or defend your position by understanding the existing market conditions when presented with a price change from a supplier.
Experiência y requisitos
Education and/or Experience: - Bachelor's degree in business or related area. 2 years minimum related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience within the Supply Chain field in a Lean environment, working with suppliers on the principles of Demand Pull managing inventories to a Just in Time environment. - Contract review experience required; contract writing a plus. ISO 9001 and 13485 experience. Oracle, or similar ERP experience is also required. - The ability to read, analyze and interpret both manufacturing and business documents, procedures, general business periodicals and professional journals. Language Skills Required: - Bilingual English and Spanish.
