SAMSUNG MEXICANA (SAMEX) is one of the most advanced electronics manufacturing facilities in the México. Seeking highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, customer service and flexibility. Raw Material Buyer is responsible for entire supply chain of semiconductor raw materials, from vendor selection/setup through price negotiation, purchase order creation, order tracking, days of stock management and vendor management. Work within a dynamic and demanding 24/7 manufacturing environment, sourcing the most advanced high purity raw materials. Role and Responsibilities: Raw Material Buyer role includes a combination of the following: PO creation Stock management for optimal days of inventory (shortage and scrap prevention) Order tracking and followup Local price negotiation Identify and execute cost savings projects Contract negotiation and revision Forecast review and management with Engineering Vendor selection and setup Vendor management, including Corrective Action issuance/ and potentially site visits/audits Management of non-conforming material through RMA process Continuous improvement projects for systems and processes Reporting as needed

Experiência y requisitos

Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in international business, administration or related career. 2 year degree, Business/Supply Chain Preferred Supply Chain Management experience preferred English Intermediate NOTE - all the skills listed are desired but not required: -Strong understanding of core supply chain functions, including but not limited to: air/sea/land logistics; RFP/RFQ; MRP and PO management; supply/demand planning; and vendor selection and management -MS Office proficiency -SAP or similar ERP experience Additional skills/background: -Semiconductor or electronics industry experience a plus -Legal/contracting review and negotiation
