**Position Purpose**Execute indirect procurement activities:- Procurement of non-merch product and services.- Sourcing activities (Supplier develpment, RFQ/RFPs, bids, reverse auctions, price and terms negotiation)- Vendor management (periodic audits, performance evaluation)- Partners with Compliance and Legal department to ensure indirect suppliers are in full compliance (NDA, FCPA, AML, etc.) and Legal (contract, vendor agreement, etc.)**Primary Accountabilities**- Identification and development of a competitive supplier base capable to support the company growth and expansion with the objective to build economy of scale and supplier consolidation synergies. As well team up with the US team to leverage their supplier base. Partner with Compliance and Legal department to ensure FCPA, Contractual, Financial capatity and Conflict of Interest risk are mitigated before is started a vendor relation.- Lead Barça (New Distribution Hub) procurement activities.- Identificate a competitive supplier base- Conduct sourcing strategies such as revese auctions, Negotiate price and contract terms.- Place PO's and ensure all indirect goods and services are delivered on time to meet Project deadlines- Partner with Compliance and Legal department to ensure FCPA, Contractual, Financial capatity and Conflict of Interest risk are mitigated before AutoZone has started a vendor relation.- Partner across the functions to coordinate the annual quality supplier certification and cost savings reverse auctions opportunities.- Champion efficiency iniatives to simplify, standardize and automate operations engaging proactively leveraging the use of technology to lean/streamline processes as part of a continous improvement routine.- Partner within CAT, Distribution Centers, Stores, etc. In order to create an Indirect Procurement organization that governates and centralizes any purchase of non merch goods and services.- Implement business intelligence such as: information metrics, key process indicators, spend analysis, etc. In order to provide superior decision capabilities within Indirect Procurement organization.**Education & Experience**Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Administration, Business, EngineeringYears of Experience: Five to seven years.Type of Experience: Identification, Development, Negoatiation, Evaluation of suppliersSpecial Certifications or Technical Skills: "English proficiency is a mustMS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoing) is a mustExperience running procurement process on an ERP environment is a must (Oracel,People Soft or SAP)APICS Certification preferredProject Management or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) preferred"Other/Preferred: Excellent negotiation skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Knowledge of industry best practices to continually enhance and improve contracting.
